The Seafood Innovation Award is an international competition for startups and growth companies, organized by NCE Seafood. The competition is held as a part of the North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF), the world’s leading seafood business conference.

We are looking for ambitious companies developing innovative solutions to address current challenges and opportunities in the seafood and aquaculture industry.

The most promising companies are invited to pitch their solutions to investors, industry experts, customers, and potential partners from around the world. Finalists also gain valuable feedback through speed-dating sessions and meetings with the jury.

Winner’s Price Package

The winner of the Seafood Innovation Award receives:

• NOK 50 000 cash prize
• 2 complimentary passes to NASF 2027
• 1 year of free membership in NCE Seafood
• 3 months of free membership in the 70Blå Ocean Incubator 

All selected finalists will recieve valuable mentoring, feedback, and advisory support from experienced industry experts, including:

• Ocean Tales (in association with Annerledeslandet & Artgarden) – offers help in networking, graphic design, advice on business model, ideas and marketing strategy.
• Acapo Onsagers – provides assistance with the filing of trademark or patent application(s) in Norway and/or abroad.
• Nagelld – Choose between two alternatives regarding 3D modelling, VR and use of the software Spawn.
• Sølvrev – Will film the pitching sessions, and make one film for each contesting company.
